Max Verstappen, has an amazing entourage. A hundred thousand supporters in the stands, orange-clad fans everywhere and then pushing the RB19 to victory. Red Bull team boss Christian Horner is impressed by the circumstances in which Verstappen managed to pull it off. Speaking to GPblog, he says it is not always easy.
"I think the most impressive thing for me this weekend is that you guys have seen all the pressure that Max is under, and the expectation of 100,000 Dutchies here. A lot would have cracked under that pressure today. He kept his composure and delivered as he's done so many times," the British team boss said.
Verstappen, RB19 and Red Bull hugely dominant
The reigning world champion stands head and shoulders above his rivals in the standings and is seemingly gearing up for his third world title. The gap between him and number two in the world championship Sergio Perez, has now risen to 138 points.
Horner also briefly touched on the performance of the rest of the team: "We've done eight pit stops today. The team have nailed every one of them other than the one that Checo gave us about five seconds notice. So it's been an incredible team performance," Horner said.
