Alonso and Verstappen take over interview and want to test GT3s together
The pressure of the F1 season is off F1 drivers after the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. The holidays can begin almost immediately. Max Verstappen faced Viaplay and decided to take the interview into his own hands along with Fernando Alonso to usher in the holidays.
Verstappen takes over interview
After talking to the Red Bull Racing driver, it was the turn of Aston Martin driver Alonso, but Verstappen himself took over. Verstappen asks Alonso: "Fernando, How was your race?" "My race was a lot more exciting than yours I think," Alonso replied.
When the 2023 champion asks about tyre wear on the Aston Martin, Alonso said: "Unexpected, A lot of deg, especially at the front. So I think I was the first one to stop in lap 16, is that right?" When Alonso asks the question back, the Dutchman replied in agreement: "The mediums, front, were quite fragile as well. So we expected it to be a one stop but it turned out to be a two stop."
GT3 test for Verstappen and Alonso in winter
It is then Alonso's turn to ask what Verstappen will do in the coming weeks. The Spaniard asks him about the winter break and holiday plans: "Hopefully not too much [...] I hope you have a great time in Testing. I am testing in GT3 if you want, in Portimao." Alonso has the same plans, but has GT3 testing planned in Aragon. Verstappen suggests doing it together at another place in between circuits. Alonso: "With the DTM car. Yes, then I can beat you there."
