Times for your diary: This is when Formula 1 Grands Prix will start in 2024
- GPblog.com
The FIA revealed on Wednesday morning what time the Grands Prix will start in 2024. Not all weekends' start times are known yet. The qualifying start times in China, Miami, Austria, Austin, Brazil, Las Vegas, and Qatar will be revealed at a later date.
The fact that the times for qualifying during those weekends are still missing is due to the fact that they are sprint race weekends (except for Las Vegas) and that a decision still needs to be made about the exact format of the sprint weekends.
The first Grand Prix of the season in Bahrain will take place on a Saturday night. The start time is 18:00 local time or 15:00 in the United Kingdom. The British Grand Prix also starts at 3pm in the UK.
The Grand Prix in Las Vegas will - for fans in Europe - again be held on Saturday evening. It is still unclear what time the other sessions of that weekend will start. It seems likely that last year's criticism is the reason for this.
