Sauber test driver Tatiana Calderon has impressed the team during a weekend of testing at Fiorano, saying that the 25-year-old Colombian was "excellent" in her performance.
Calderón wasn't driving the current build of the Sauber F1 car, the C37, but rather the 2013 version, the C32. It has a Ferrari-powered V8 in the back and clocked almost 600 kilometres over the weekend, driving over 200 laps at Fiorano.
It's the second outing for Calderon in the Sauber, as she already took part in a filming day after the Mexican Grand Prix last month.
In a statement after the testing, Sauber revealed that Calderon "delivered an excellent performance" as she clocked "consistent lap times while demonstrating dedication and endurance."
