The Horner case continues. The Red Bull employee who accused Christian Horner of inappropriate behaviour has filed an official complaint. The complaint has been filed with the ethics committee of Formula 1's governing body.

The BBC has learned that a report was made to the FIA ethics and compliance hotline on 2 February about Horner's behaviour towards the woman. This was allegedly done by a whistleblower because it was feared Red Bull would try to sweep the matter under the carpet.

After the whistleblower, the woman also goes to FIA

A second complaint was filed on 6 March, referring to the first complaint and warning that if the whistleblower did not respond, information would leak to the media. So by now, the woman in question is also said to have officially filed a complaint. GPblog has since asked the FIA for a response but has not (yet) received one.

The woman in question has since been suspended by Red Bull. It has also emerged that she has engaged a new lawyer and is appealing to Red Bull GmbH against an earlier decision by the Austrian concern to exonerate Horner. Whether that appeal has actually been filed yet is unclear. Red Bull GmbH would not comment on it.
