Zak Brown takes a jab at Horner: 'Situation within Red Bull is unstable'
Zak Brown says he is "not surprised with the departure of chief designer Adrian Newey at Red Bull Racing. The McLaren owner sees the energy can manufacturer's team destabilising and thus does not find it entirely surprising that Newey is leaving.
At the team principals' press conference in Miami, Zak Brown was very outspoken about the state of affairs at Red Bull. "Six months ago, I would have been surprised. I think given everything that's gone on since the start of the year and knowing Adrian pretty well, and he's a very high integrity individual, I'm not surprised he's moving on. I think the stuff that's going on there is a bit destabilising."
Brown thinks more people are leaving Red Bull
Finally, the McLaren frontman thinks this is not the last departure from the Red Bull camp. "It's probably the first domino to fall. My guess is not the last, based on the resumes that are flying around."
