Ferrari proud of second win at Le Mans and sees conceded team

For the second consecutive year in a row, Ferrari managed to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This time, the trio of Nicklas Nielsen, Antonio Fuoco and Miguel Molina were the best in the iconic endurance race, where last season Giovinazzi, Pier Guidi and Calado won. The latter trio finished third in '24, so almost an optimal result for the Italians, who were delirious with joy afterwards.

Earlier this season, Ferrari won the Monaco Grand Prix thanks to Charles Leclerc and so now Le Mans, another monument on the motorsport calendar, is also in. John Elkann, Ferrari's president, praised his team at Le Mans. "Our first and third place at Le Mans are a testament to how teamwork allows us to accomplish extraordinary results," the president said.

Moreover, Elkann rightly concluded, all six drivers of the Ferrari WEC team have now won Le Mans. "It gives me great pleasure that, with the result this year and last year, all the Ferrari drivers won at Le Mans – and with them all of Ferrari. Only a very cohesive and committed team could achieve this historic result."

The #50 Ferrari held off Toyota on Sunday afternoon. The Japanese team - with Nyck de Vries, Kamui Kobayashi and Jose Maria Lopez - was ultimately 14 seconds short of winning at Le Mans, but Ferrari were able to carry their lead home.
