Perez 'needs a complete weekend' after a string of poor performances

Sergio Perez has had a string of disappointing race weekends. The Mexican has scored just eight points in the last four races in his RB20. At the Austrian Grand Prix, Red Bull Racing's home race, Perez realises that he really needs to step up his game if he wants to have another successful weekend. Looking ahead to the Austrian sprint weekend, this is what Perez had to say in Red Bull's press release.
Perez is in desperate need of a strong F1 weekend
Perez had to start the Spanish Grand Prix from 11th place and gained just three positions in the race, finishing eighth. "I had a difficult weekend in Spain but it’s one we have learnt from. I struggled with the balance of the car all weekend. We couldn’t get the set-up consistent and in a window for qualifying or to race the race we wanted, the grid place penalty also harmed us," said Perez, who hasn't won a Grand Prix since Azerbaijan last year.
He continued: "This weekend in Austria we have everything in place to have a cleaner weekend, the Team and I know where we must improve and make changes and we will implement them. It’s then my job to get the most out of the car, we’ll have limited running due to the Sprint weekend, so I need to make the most of first practice and attack qualifying and the Sprint from the start."
