A small bomb recently exploded in the Formula 1 paddock when Jos Verstappen spoke out about an altercation with Christian Horner. Verstappen Sr. was supposed to give a demo in an old Red Bull car this race weekend in Austria, but Horner reportedly stopped that happening because he does not want Max Verstappen's father to be filmed. The Red Bull Racing team principal does not want to say anything about this shortcoming, but he does have a message for Dutch fans.

The Austrian Grand Prix is usually attended in large numbers by the Dutch fans. With this audience, having Jos Verstappen in the line-up also made sense, but Max Verstappen's father now decided against participating.

Horner, who was called out by Verstappen Sr., has kept his mouth firmly shut for the most part, but he does have a message to Dutch fans who may be disappointed because Verstappen Sr. will not be on the track driving an RB8 car.

Horner with a message for Dutch fans

"Well, I mean, the Dutch fans are some of the best in the world and the following that they have for Max is outstanding and the support and the passion that they have, how well equipped they come to the campsites, you know, they're phenomenal and it's great to see tens of thousands of them here and we hope to put on a great display and, hopefully, Max will be able to do that," Horner said in Austria
