Lando Norris has replaced Max Verstappen at the top of the F1 Power Rankings after the Dutchman wasn't given a place inside the top ten at the Hungarian Grand Prix

McLaren picks up another 1-2

After 35 races, Oscar Piastri can call himself a Grand Prix winner. The Australian snatched first place from polesitter and teammate Lando Norris at the start but lost it due to an undercut by the Briton. Due to team orders from McLaren, Piastri regained victory. A much-discussed moment, but there was little to comment on the driving style of both McLaren drivers. Piastri was rated 9.2.

Norris will have had mixed feelings about the Hungarian GP. The Brit enjoyed an excellent weekend with pole position on Saturday and his speed in the race. But his team prevented a second career win and with it a great chance to catch up even more with Verstappen in the standings. Norris himself was little to blame and was rated 8.6.

Verstappen was left out of the top-10 for the first time this season. This puts the three-time world champion on par with Norris. Fortunately for Verstappen, he can soon make another attempt to turn the tide. Next weekend, the Belgian Grand Prix is on the programme.
