The Belgian Grand Prix marks the final race before the month-long summer break in the 2024 Formula 1 season. Many teams will want to go into that break on the front foot with a positive performance at Spa-Francorchaps, and that is why many of the teams on the grid have brought updates for their cars for the race weekend. Only three teams have not made any changes to their car from last weekend's Hungarian Grand Prix, and one of them is Red Bull Racing, who come to Spa with no updates to their RB20.

McLaren, Mercedes and Ferrari all make changes

Joining Red Bull in not making any changes are Aston Martin and Williams, but in the battle at the front of the grid, the Austrian team are the only outfit who are not changing their car for the upcoming weekend compared to their rivals. Mercedes are making the biggest change to their W15 for this weekend, bringing five new updates. They will be looking to get back to winning ways after victories in Spielberg and Silverstone. Only Alpine have brought more updates this weekend with six.

Ferrari and McLaren have also made some changes, bringing two and three updates to their cars, respectively. McLaren will be hoping these updates will not hinder their pace that led them to a fantastic 1-2 at the Hungarian Grand Prix last weekend. Lando Norris will be hoping to continue to close the gap to Max Verstappen in the drivers' standings.
