During the Hungarian Grand Prix, things were anything but cosy on Max Verstappen's board radio. Due to poor strategy and a collision with Lewis Hamilton, the Dutchman was very frustrated towards his team and engineer Gianpiero Lambiase. Red Bull team boss Christian Horner addressed Verstappen's anger.

According to Horner, there is not much to it and he thinks that some overheated reactions from a driver are sometimes part of it. "Max was pretty sporty in his communication as we see but if you had a microphone on every football player in the Premier League I'm sure you'd hear some fairly vibrant language," Horner revealed to Sky Sports F1. "Max is a passionate racer he races with his heart on his sleeve that's part of what makes Max as good as he is and he was frustrated. He fenced that frustration. It's not personal, it's not meant to offend anyone," the Brit said.

Moreover, Horner made it clear that there is nothing going on between Verstappen and his engineer Lambiase. "Of course, we talk about these things, GP and Max have had a great relationship over eight years, they know each other inside out, and we discussed things on Thursday with the aim to focus on this race," Horner added.
