What time does the 2024 Dutch Grand Prix start in Zandvoort?
Formula 1 (finally!) returns with the 2024 Dutch Grand Prix weekend. After a few weekends without action due to the summer break, F1 cars will return to the track this week in Zandvoort. The event is usually a party for Max Verstappen's Orange Army, and 2024 is expected to be no different. The race will take place on Sunday 25th August 2024 at 14:00 BST/15:00 local time.

Since the circuit returned to the Formula 1 calendar in 2021, Max Verstappen has had a 100% success rate in meaningful sessions at Zandvoort. The Dutchman has qualified for pole position every time and won every race with relative ease. But the 2024 edition of the Dutch Grand Prix might be a bit more of a battle as Red Bull Racing arrives without a dominant car.
McLaren have made another step in 2024, and should've won more races than the two wins they have to their name. Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri are hunting down Red Bull in the World Championship. Meanwhile, Mercedes have won three of the last four races as upgrades in Canada proved to be strong. Ferrari can also mix it with the best of circuits which suit them.
When is the 2024 Dutch Grand Prix?
The Dutch Grand Prix is scheduled to take place on Sunday, 25 August, at 14:00 BST/09:00 EDT [15:00 local time]. The first two free practice sessions are scheduled for Friday, 23 August. FP1 will start at 11:30am UK time and FP2 at 15:00. A day later, on Saturday, 24 August, FP3 and qualifying are scheduled. They start at 10:30 and 14:00, respectively. This is followed by the Dutch Grand Prix on Sunday, 25 August. It starts at the same time as the other European races.
