It is still unclear where Logan Sargeant will continue his motorsport career after Williams decided to replace him following the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort. Franco Colapinto debuted at the Italian Grand Prix and will complete the 2024 Formula 1 season alongside Alex Albon at Williams. The American driver has remained silent on social media, but Prema Racing has posted a possible hint.

Sargeant has yet to comment on his resignation. Repeated requests from GPblog have not been met with a response. His time in Formula 1 seems to be over as there is no interest from F1 teams. The expectation is that Sargeant will return to the United States and continue his career in IndyCar. Many other F1 drivers have gone down this route after leaving Formula 1.

Italian team Prema Racing has been mentioned as a possible destination for Sargeant. Prema, who are a big name in Formula 2, Formula 3 and other series, will join the IndyCar series next season and are searching for two drivers. Sargeant previously raced for Prema in Formula 3 and finished third behind Theo Pourchaire and his teammate at the time, Oscar Piastri during the 2020 season.

Prema Racing hints at an announcement

Prema has posted on its social media channels, hinting that it will announce its drivers soon. A picture shows the team's first IndyCar cars, and the team says it will "have some numbers soon."
