After a three-week summer break, the Dutch Grand Prix will bring the return of Formula 1. The Zandvoort circuit will host an F1 race for the fourth year in a row. Last season it rained in the Netherlands. F1 drivers had to contend with a wet track on Friday and Saturday in 2024, but will that be the case for Sunday's Grand Prix?

Rain hasn't been common during the 2024 Formula 1 season. Though last time out in Belgium, a wet qualifying created quite a mixed grid and parts of the Dutch Grand Prix weekend have been wet and windy. Last year, mixed conditions occurred in the Dutch Grand Prix, which created chaos at the start.

What is the weather forecast for the Dutch Grand Prix?

On Friday, it was rainy and windy throughout FP1, but the conditions bettered for FP2, as it was dry, although wind still affected some drivers. Qualifying was completed in dry and sunny conditions, but rain later troubled the F1 Academy race.

According to Weather.com, the Dutch Grand Prix is expected to be dry and sunny. In fact, it is probably the best day of weather across the entire weekend. Temperatures are expected to reach around 18c. However, drivers still have to battle the wind. The speed is predicted to be around 18mph.
