Gianpiero Lambiase got the laughs after commenting over the board radio towards Max Verstappen. During a rather boring third free practice, Verstappen reported on the radio to complain about a Mercedes, but then got a rather sharp response back from his race engineer during FP3.

Max Verstappen complained during the third free practice session in Monza about a Mercedes driving on the racing line, but was told by Gianpiero Lambiase that this was only the "standard". "This Mercedes is driving on the normal the racing line," reported Verstappen. To which Lambiase responded with: "Fairly standard Max."

Verstappen complains about car

Verstappen was already complaining hugely about the car at Zandvoort, but at Monza it is not happening much less for now. "The car doesn't turn low speed or medium speed," Verstappen complained on the radio about his RB20. In the Netherlands, the reigning world champion was already suffering a lot of balance problems.
