This is the verdict after Piastri's FP3 incident with Leclerc and Ricciardo
- Sandy van Wijngaarden
During the third free practice session of the Italian Grand Prix, an incident took place between Charles Leclerc and Oscar Piastri. Daniel Ricciardo was eventually affected by this on his fast lap. The stewards looked into the incident and passed their judgement.
Charles Leclerc and Oscar Piastri were both on a cooldown lap. The Monegasque then tried to overtake Piastri. The McLaren driver however didn't realise this and drove towards Leclerc's car. This forced the Ferrari driver onto the grass to avoid a collision.
Daniel Ricciardo was also present. The Australian did set a fast lap during the final free practice before qualifying in Monza but was hampered by the incident between Leclerc and Piastri. The stewards reviewed the situation in detail and decided that no further action was required.
