Max Verstappen has expressed how he feels about his community service penalty. The Red Bull Racing driver received the punishment from the FIA ater using the word 'f**k' during Thursday's press conference in Singapore.

Verstappen doesn't want to waste energy on community service

"I think it's all nonsense, butja I can't do anything with it. It is what it is and I'm not going to waste energy on it either," Verstappen told Viaplay. "Everyone thought it was pretty bizarre and what kind of penalty it's going to be doesn't interest me at all either," said Verstappen in the process, who hinted that it was not going to be educational.

F1 analyst Mike Hezemans had offered to help Verstappen, which the three-time world champion appreciated. "With Mike I'll do a game of paddle and a drink. I won't sit with Mike at the stewards, because I don't think we are both made for that," Verstappen concluded, laughing.

Earlier this week, FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem stated he wishes to reduce the amount of swearing on the drivers' on board radios, reminding the F1 drivers they are role models.
