'Brown deliberately seeks attack with Red Bull to put pressure on them'
Zak Brown has opened the attack on Red Bull Racing, but it is not based on luck or chance. According to Jenson Button, Zak Brown has been waiting for the right moment to open the attack on his rival in the title race.
"It's like they have a little black book with all the naughty stuff they think has gone on through the season, they hold on to it until there's a good moment in time to release it. Zak's very good at running team and making other people feel uncomfortable, which is exactly what he's doing there," Button stated to Sky Sports.
Has Red Bull used the system?
"A lot of pressure on Red Bull right now, obviously the last few races haven't been easy for them and one little slip-up could cost them a lot of points, so he is putting the pressure on, which is good to see. I love that."
Brown currently has his attention focused on Red Bull Racing's infamous system that allowed the ride height of the RB20 to be adjusted. According to Brown and other rivals, Red Bull would have used this to adjust ride height between qualifying and races, something Red Bull has systematically denied.
Red Bull have showed the FIA how the system worked and the FIA decided to take no further action, but Brown is not letting it go. The McLaren CEO would even like to see a sworn statement from Red Bull personnel to make sure the system was never used.
