With all the rumours around how Red Bull and VCARB could line up in the 2025 season, and also about Sergio Perez getting released already after the Brazilian GP, an official Red Bull account has now possible teased the signing of a new driver to one of their teams.

Since then, he has scored points in Baku and then in Austin as well driving for Williams. There, it was previously confirmed that Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz will be the two full-time drivers, therefore, Colapinto is currently out of seat for next season.

These rumours are indeed getting stronger now. Slightly illogical if he would go straight to redbull. But lately we've seen that logic ain't at home anymore at redbull. This would also show lack of trust to their own redbull juniors. Having 2 teams and still everybody else would get seats, instead of their own juniors. Pretty comical.

That would be a weird move as I dont think he is actually any better than either Lawson and Yuki. The better driver between Lawson and Yuki should be Max's team mate and put Colapinto into VCARB would be more sensible.

If true, it will make sense for RB to sign COL. COL being a Williams driver since 2023 shows that Vowles didn't think he could be better than SAR. Now that he signed SAI, there will be no place for COL. But what the heck means #2 driver of RB? Is that guy saying COL will directly replace PER at RB? Going first through VCARB will make more sense. But looking at the weird driver decisions RB took lastly, I wouldn't exclude that either.

If Colapinto goes straight to Red Bull without a visit to RB (VCARB) one might wonder which Argentine sponsor (s) mìght be throwing a bunch of money to that endevor. Wonder how Lawson would take the news.

What would the argentinian sponsor be paying with? Argentine pesos that devalue to 1/3 of it's value in 1 year?

Looks like Perez sponsor Carlos Slim (Telmex) is considering to sponsor Colapinto. So win win for all parties involved (except for Perez)
