2 November at 14:37

Lando Norris has won the F1 Sprint in Sao Paulo, after Oscar Piastri let his teammate past. As a result, the Briton could gain two points on Max Verstappen this Saturday! See the full results below!

McLaren played the team game today at Interlagos, as Norris did not attack Piastri, and the team then swapped their two drivers around. Max Verstappen could overtake Charles Leclerc, and therefore he finished on the podium, but the Dutchman lost his streak of consecutive Sprint victories.

Carlos Sainz finished far behind his teammate in P5, while George Russell brought his Mercedes home in P6. Pierre Gasly could gain two important points for Alpine, while Sergio Perez got up to P8 after he got eliminated in SQ2 a day before.

The only driver who failed to finish the Sprint was Nico Hulkenberg.
