Bottas completes Iron Man - At home!
It was not any Iron Man the current Sauber driver did complete, but he did it at his some, consisting of three desciplines: swimming, cycling and running. On Instagram, he also showed his time and how many calories did he burn.
It took Bottas one hour and five minutes to swim 3.8 kilometres in his pool. Cycling 180 kilometres took a bit longer, 5.5 hours. During the final part, he ran the marathon. After no less than 42.195 kilometres, he completed the Iron Man.
With the entire challenge, the Formula 1 driver burned a whopping 7,000 calories, two weeks before he jumps back into Formula One action in Las Vegas.
