The fans are not the only people feeling the Formula 1 winter break stretch; the drivers are as well. Many of them have taken to various social media platforms to share what they have been doing over the past two weeks. Between skiing, training and getting a dog, they're staying busy and getting ready for the 2025 Formula 1 season.
F1 Drivers and the winter break: What are they up to?
The four-time world champion Max Verstappen is keeping busy between his sim racing career with Team Redline and his home life. On a stream, Verstappen recently confirmed that his family has once again grown in size. This time, he has added a dog to the mix. Now Verstappen has three cats and one dog. He and girlfriend, Kelly Piquet, are also expecting their first child together. And of course, how could one forget, Verstappen's guest star on his livestreams, his stepdaughter, Penelope.

Other drivers like Alpine's Pierre Gasly, Mercedes' Kimi Antonelli and Ferrari's Charles Leclerc are devoting their time to working on their fitness before the new season starts.
