Hamilton honours his mother in a special way

Before his arrival in Maranello, Lewis Hamilton made a quick pit stop to complete a special gesture for his mother. Fans found out about what exactly it was Hamilton did when his friend took to Instagram to announce what Hamilton dedicated to her.
Hamilton gets fresh ink
Hamilton visited an old friend and left with a new tattoo. The tattoo has a double meaning. Just under his chin, on his neck, Hamilton now has an 11:11 tattoo. Hamilton's mother, Carmen Larbalestier, was born on 11 November or 11/11. 11:11 is also an angel number that many people make a wish on.
On the Instagram post, @mr.k_tattoo's caption read, "I'm so excited about your new chapter bro Lewis Hamilton. For his Mum 11:11". The studio in question is located in New York City, where Hamilton was spotted just before he made the trip to Italy.
