Despite Formula 1 being on their break, Max Verstappen has kept himself busy racing on virtual tracks. However, unlike in F1, Verstappen has failed to win a race so far. On Wednesday night, he will once again be in action but this time it will be different.

Verstappen has many hobbies, and one of the biggest of them is sim racing. Verstappen races with his own team, Team Redline. The Dutchman himself was even criticised for his sim racing during the active Formula 1 season.

Renowned sim racer Jarno Opmeer has defended the Red Bull Racing driver by saying that sim racing is good for a driver. This allows the driver to keep their skills sharp and to learn the circuit before touching down at it. In this particular area, Verstappen shines.

In early January, Verstappen made his first appearance during the 24 Hours of Daytona. It was during that race that a controversy happened with one of the competing cars. After a post-race disqualification, Verstappen managed to grace the last step on the podium.

Verstappen in action again for Team Redline

On Wednesday, Verstappen will join Team Redline once again during a live stream. The concept behind the live stream is where different games are played. Often times sim races are still held.

The live stream will take place on Team Redline's Twitch channel at 19:00 UK time.
