When Max Verstappen is not busy winning world championships, he is often participating in one of his hobbies; sim racing. He often streams with his sim racing team, Team Redline, on Twitch Stream. However, in the world of virtual racing, one thing Verstappen hasn't been able to get behind is Virtual Reality racing.

When Verstappen did try VR racing, he felt sick. Still, he says he would be okay with trying it again. With VR racing, you use more accessories while racing. VR deals with a total submersion of the senses.  For Verstappen, it was not ideal at the time. "I've tried but it's been a few years ago now and the technology has actually improved already even for sim racing but at the time I still got a little bit sick of it but just while driving because you have no spatial awareness but then this is three-four years ago the technology has improved a lot," Verstappen said on Track Limits' YouTube channel.

VR racing something for the future according to Verstappen?

Verstappen then goes on to say that he knows people who do use VR accessories to sim race. "Some of my friends have been trying it on a lot and it's coming along nicely I think it still needs to take a little bit more time to really get the most out of it but it's something very interesting for the future." Verstappen concluded.

For now, Verstappen wishes to stick with sim racing.
