Williams unveil 2025 FW47 car Norris sends warning to Verstappen F1 Today

Today, the first car unveiling event took place in the 2025 season, as Williams were in Silverstone to present their FW47. Lando Norris has sent a warning to Max Verstappen, and Maximiliam Gunther could win the first ePrix of the weekend in Jeddah. The FW47 goes out on track!

On 14 February, another milestone happened in the 2025 Formula One season. While the McLaren previously showed images of their 2025 challenger, Williams were the first team to officially unveil their car for the upcoming season. First, it was Carlos Sainz's turn to go around the Silverstone track, then Alex Albon could complete his run later on.

After the event, team principal James Vowles, and both drivers took some time to answer many questions to GPblog among others. Albon talked about having the 'closest field ever in F1', while Sainz reflected on the penalties that drivers could receive for swearing under the latest FIA guidelines. Vowles also talked about Franco Colapinto, and he also referred to the '25 season as when the young Argentinian could already have a full-time seat with the French team.

Norris warns Verstappen

Entering the 2025 season, Lando Norris hopes not only to fight for the title, but to also to win the drivers' world championship. When talking about this year, the British driver has already sent a warning to Max Verstappen. In other news, Norris also reviewed his run using McLaren's 2025 car that took place this Thursday.

After much debate about the so-called 'flexiwings', entering the Spanish GP, a change will take place. Afterwards, the front wings could only be 10 millimetres flexible at most. Still, team principal Andrea Stella is not worried at all when talking about the aforementioned change.

Max Gunther wins ePrix #1 in Jeddah

After an eventful first race of the weekend in Saudi Arabia, it was Maximilian Gunther who won from pole position. After the German could keep the lead after the start, he let Oliver Rowland past to help him save energy. At the first event after the introduction of the 'pit boost', Gunther fell down the order after completing his stop, but could re-take the lead on the final lap. Read the full report here!
