Sainz believes that 'proudest' moment in F1 career is yet to come
F1 News

Carlos Sainz has already began the next chapter of his Formula One career. After joining Williams, the driver who has won four Grands Prix with Ferrari, made an extraordinary claim, saying that he could achieve his 'proudest' result ever with the British team.
Talking to selected media - including GPblog -, Carlos Sainz explained why he is proud to join such a historic team as Williams, after previously competing for McLaren and Ferrari. "When I was 10 years old and I started to fall in love with Formula 1, which teams you would have loved to drive one day? I would have definitely picked those three," he began.
'The proudest moment'
The Spaniard is determined to get back Williams to the front. "I'm in my 10th year in Formula One and I'm joining Williams now, I think, in a very important moment for Williams, where it's going through some key changes in its history and nothing would make me happier and more proud, and it would definitely be the proudest moment of my career if one day, I can be on a podium with this team," he declared about where he would rank such achievement of having Williams on the right track.
Sainz believes his skills can help develop teams, and is eager to help the Groves-based team. "I want to help that in that process of a historical team, I think it's the second most successful team in Formula 1. And being part of that process and being part of that right way back to the top of Formula 1 is what motivates me. I'm happy, I feel supported by his team and I think that's hopefully going to bring the best version of myself."
