Haas F1's VF-25 is here: What are the differences from the 2024 car?
F1 News

- Ludo van Denderen
The Haas F1 team hoped to get the new car for the 2025 season out of the water without any onlookers. A noble goal, but that turned out to be impossible. The car with Esteban Ocon in this case had barely gone around once during a shakedown at Silverstone before the first photo of the VF-25 appeared online.
The picture looked to be taken from a building next to the British circuit, which means that details of the car cannot be seen. That is unlikely to change until Tuesday when Haas plan to share images of the car of Ocon and his teammate Oliver Bearman.
The changes to Haas' 2025 car
Although no close-ups of the VF-25 exist yet, it can be seen that Haas has made some changes from last year's car, including changes to the sidepods, the 'cannons' of the engine cover, along with an adjustment at the wing end plate.
We will have to wait for more detailed pictures to know more about the car, which uses Ferrari's power unit, gearbox and rear suspension. At the front, Haas F1 is not using the concept of the Italians, as it was previously announced.
Whether the livery remains as seen in the picture also remains to be seen. It is possible the team will drive around in a one-off livery, as Mclaren did earlier in the week. More on this will become clear during the F1 event in London on Tuesday.
