Red Bull shares new images of Verstappen and Lawson
- Kimberley Hoefnagel
Red Bull Racing, ahead of the F1 75 event at the O2 Arena on Tuesday night, has shared new images of Max Verstappen and Liam Lawson in their new 2025 team kit. Verstappen already hinted a little at the livery of the Red Bull car in a livestream on Twitch. Based on the team kit, that hint might just be right.
Ahead of the F1 75 event, Red Bull Racing has released new photos showing Verstappen and Lawson posing in their new team kit. The outfits were officially unveiled earlier this month, after which the replica collection was immediately thrown on sale. While some fans are very excited about the outfits, there was mostly a lot of criticism on social media.
Liam Lawson
Verstappen starts the 2025 Formula 1 season with a new teammate at his side. After several disappointing seasons by Sergio Pérez, the Austrian racing stable decided to part ways with him at the end of 2024. Lawson, who was appointed as Daniel Ricciardo's permanent replacement at Visa CashApp RB in mid-2024, was announced as the Mexican's replacement not much later. The New Zealander has been part of the Red Bull Junior Team for quite some time, and has managed to impress during that time. Expectations are therefore high.
F1 75: Live from The O2
The 2025 Formula 1 season will be kicked off in celebration at a major event at the O2 Arena on Tuesday 18 February. During F1 75: Live from The O2, the ten teams - in front of thousands of fans - will show off their 2025 liveries to the world. Live performances are also expected from Take That and Machin Gun Kelly, among others. So although the official liveries will not be unveiled until Tuesday, a number of teams have already come up with one-off liveries. For instance, McLaren took to the track last week with a camo livery, and Williams unveiled its new car with a one-off livery as well.
