Bizarre stoppage to pre-season testing in Bahrain: Glass shards on track
F1 News

An unprecedented incident has caused pre-season testing to come to a halt at the Bahrain International Circuit. On the pit straight, a large quantity of glass shards had scattered all over the track.
A pane of glass from the race start booth appears to have failed and fallen onto the track. To avoid punctures or other problems, the session was red-flagged so the debris could be cleared. Drivers returned to their garages, and marshals swiftly cleared the track.
