An unprecedented incident has caused pre-season testing to come to a halt at the Bahrain International Circuit. On the pit straight, a large quantity of glass shards had scattered all over the track.
A pane of glass from the race start booth appears to have failed and fallen onto the track. To avoid punctures or other problems, the session was red-flagged so the debris could be cleared. Drivers returned to their garages, and marshals swiftly cleared the track.
Charles Leclerc has led the way in today's morning session with a 1.30.811 so far. Kimi Antonelli and Lando Norris complete the top three on the final morning of testing. The final afternoon in Bahrain gets underway at 12:00 GMT.
