Max Verstappen has made himself a spot among the greatest drivers in Formula 1 of all time in the minds of fans and experts alike. Of course, the four-time world champion will not be a professional racing driver forever. At some point - at least that is the expectation - Verstappen will focus entirely on being the his own racing team's principal.

As it was announced last week, Verstappen has expanded the actvities of Verstappen.com Racing, including the participation of Chris Lulham in the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint and Endurance Cup. Although Verstappen obviously has his own commitments in Formula 1, he keeps a keen eye on all things related to his team.

This is what Verstappen does as team boss during a test

Last week, for instance, the Red Bull Racing driver was at Monza, testing the Verstappen.com Racing cars, and during avirtual press session at Zandvoort to which GPblog attended, Verstappen revealed some of the activities involved in his management role. "I am of course busy with the onboards and watching along with the team how things are going," he said.

"I'm also watching the setup with them. Then, obviously, you also see a difference how they approach certain things. So, I just share a bit of my opinion and my experience and that's how we keep going," said the Red Bull Racing driver.

As previously stated, Verstappen has plenty left to do in Formula 1. As of now, he is mostly watching from a distance: "It is of course one of the last days that I can also be physically present before the season starts with them as well, so it is kind of important to be there," explaining why he will not be seen as often during his drivers' races.
