What are we going to do now? Formula One is taking a break for a few weeks, so here are a few F1 related things you can do to fill your time!

Recap the season

Go back and what highlights of every race so far on the F1 Youtube channel! Remind yourself of Vettel’s perfect start to the season, the Red Bull crash in Azerbaijan and Hamilton’s magnificent win in Germany! That will surely get you even more excited for the season to return in Belgium.

Watch an F1 related film

Personal suggestions include Senna, the documentary about legendary three-time champion Ayrton Senna’s life and tragic death. Alternatively, check out Rush, which tells the story of the epic 1976 championship battle between Ferrari’s Niki Lauda and McLaren’s James Hunt.

Do some go-karting

Missing the thrill of watching racing? Go and do some yourself! Find your nearest kart track and take some friends for a race of your own! It may not be quite as fast as Formula One, but it sure is an exciting thing to do!

Read an F1 book

Plenty of past F1 stars have released books in the past few years, retelling the stories of their careers from their own point of view. Try Damon Hill’s Watching the Wheels or Mark Webber’s Aussie Grit. 2009 champion Jenson Button’s new book, Life to the Limit is also worth a read!

Play the F1 game

F1 2018 from Codemasters is out soon, so hone your skills ready for the new game by getting some practise on F1 2017 first! Can you take Sauber to a world title? Or are you more interested in some dynamic online racing with your friends? Either way, there’s something in F1 2017 for you, before the new game comes out.
