Kimi Raikkonen topped the timesheets for Ferrari after the morning session of testing at the Hungaroring.
The Finn dominated the session, topping the timesheets by more than two second at the in-season test during F1’s summer break.
Raikkonen recorded a 1:16:171 on soft compound tyres. His time was only one thousandth of a second slower than the FP3 time recorded by his Ferrari team mate Sebastian Vettel last weekend.
Robert Kubica was the second quickest driver in the Williams, recording a time faster than both Lance Stroll and Sergey Sirotkin managed in FP3 on Saturday. A penny for Williams’ thoughts?
There were three young British drivers on track this morning. Lando Norris was third for McLaren with George Russel fifth in the Mercedes.
Jake Dennis completed 56 laps for Red Bull but was down in ninth.
There was also a first F1 test appearance for Artem Markelov, driving the Renault.
Testing resumes this afternoon.
