Hakkinen feels Vettel-Leclerc incident puts pressure on Binotto
- Tom Mason
Two-time F1 champion Mika Hakkinen believes that the incident which occurred at the Brazilian Grand Prix between teammates Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel will only cause problems for the Ferrari team principal Mattia Binotto.
The pair clashed towards the end of the race in Brazil last weekend which resulted in both finishing outside the points, hampering their chances of securing third in the drivers' championship.
“The collision and double zero were the worst possible result for Vettel and Leclerc," Hakkinen told Unibet.
"And I can really understand what they felt. Sometimes it happens that teammates have an accident on the track.
"He puts under pressure the manager of the team Mattia Binotto, who now has to find a way to make the two drivers work better for the team for next year."
