Horner: "No room for two alpha males at Red Bull Racing"

Christian Horner does not expect Sebastian Vettel to return to Red Bull Racing. The German driver will have to look for a new team after next season, but Red Bull's team boss thinks it's only going to be a hassle when Max Verstappen and Vettel are in a team together.
"We have an agreement with Verstappen for several years and Alex [Albon] is doing very well at the moment", Horner tells Sky Sports. Despite the four World Championships that Vettel won at Red Bull, there is no return for the German. "The atmosphere within the team right now is very good."
Two alpha men in one team isn't going
"History has taught us that two alpha men in a team don't go well. Sebastian is a very competitive driver and I think that besides Verstappen he is not the best solution for the team". With Albon next to Verstappen, Red Bull has a good second driver to support the Dutchman. Horner expects that if Vettel were to join the team for Albon it wouldn't be the best solution.
"I don't think it will give our team much if we have two alpha males as drivers in our team. We are very happy with the current drivers we have," Horner said. So Vettel only has Mercedes as the only option for a top team, now that Red Bull has been excluded.
