ROKiT: "We remain fully committed to the current collaborations in motorsport"

For some it came as a surprise, for others it was mainly waiting until it was finally announced. With immediate effect, the roads of Williams and ROKiT split, which means the British F1 team will have to look for a new title sponsor. The team that is already in a difficult financial situation is now taking several actions to keep the team alive. However, ROKiT will continue with the other racing classes in which it is a sponsor.
The company that is active in the telecoms market was the title sponsor of Williams for one year, but this collaboration has now ended prematurely. ROKiT says that they wish Williams success in the future. "Following their announcement this morning, ROKiT would like to take the opportunity to wish Williams all the best with their plans for potentially selling the F1 team," says ROKiT's spokesperson.
Staying in other classes
ROKiT was not only active in F1, the name of the company can also be found in the W-series and Formula E. "As a group, ROKiT remains fully committed to its other existing collaborations in motorsport and to exploring additional strategic collaborations in the near future".
ROKiT is the main sponsor in the W-series, the racing class in which only women are allowed to participate. In Formula E, the company is the title sponsor of Venturi Racing, with the team of Felipe Massa and Edoardo Mortara. ROKiT therefore indicates that they will support Venturi Racing and the W-series for a long time to come, and in time they will be looking for new opportunities.
