Horner insists Red Bull will do what they can to bring updates to Hungary
Red Bull Racing were not fast enough during the Styrian GP to seriously attack Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes despite Max Verstappen indicating his car was better to drive. They still have to find something for Hungary if they want to compete with the Silver Arrows.
Does Christian Horner know more about a possible update?
Because everyone started on the same tyres and there was no safety car situation at the end of the race, there was no strategic differences. Verstappen said after the race that the car simply wasn't fast enough, but he's not sure if there are any updates on the car for Hungary. GPblog.com asked Christian Horner if he could comment further on that front.
“It’s only five days before we are in Hungary, so we haven’t got a great deal of time," Horner explained.
"So whatever we can get on the car to improve the car [we’ll do]. We had a few little bits this week. The whole factory is working incredibly hard. I felt we improved the car from last week to this week and we hope we can do the same during the next five days.”
