Brawn impressed by Verstappen: "Biggest threat to Mercedes"

Ross Brawn is impressed with the development that Red Bull has gone through. The former team boss of Brawn GP, among others, sees Max Verstappen as the biggest challenger to Mercedes.
"Red Bull has clearly grown, they are currently the biggest threat to Mercedes," says Brawn in conversation with Speedweek. "In terms of pure performance, however, they are not yet close to Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas. However, that doesn't mean that Max Verstappen can't challenge the two drivers. He made the most of it last weekend, despite the means at his disposal. I don't think anyone would have done better."
Determination of Max
"Max's determination to strike back after Bottas' attack knocked us all off our chairs. Of course, we all knew he had to give in in the end, but he did it very cleverly. Max really squeezed his car like a lemon. He made the most of it." This weekend the Grand Prix of Hungary is on the program.
