Ferrari uses new power unit for Vettel
- GPblog.com
Ferrari have just confirmed that a new power unit will be installed in the car of Sebastian Vettel before the upcoming race. Since we are still early in the season, fortunately for the German, it doesn't produce any penalties. Vettel is still inside the limits for the number of engines allowed in one season.
Vettel won't have to take a grid penalty but will get a new power source in his Ferrari. After the defect during yesterday's practice session, it turned out that the power source couldn't get to work after all.
The old engine is currently on its way back to Maranello. The new engine is the same specification as the previous one. So no updates for Ferrari.
Ferrari montará una nueva unidad de potencia para Vettel esta mañana. Misma especificación. La unidad que se rompió ayer está camino de Maranello.
