Albon not happy with P5: ''I could have gotten more out of this"
Alexander Albon had another tough race day at the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix. Where Max Verstappen drove to victory in the Red Bull Racing car, Albon had to settle for fifth place at the Silverstone circuit.
Albon disappoints again
''Yeah, it was just really awkward today. The first twenty laps I was in a DRS train and then you just can't do anything. I had a really hard time with that because you just can't get past anyone," the Thai said after the race to Jack Plooi of Ziggo Sport. Albon, however, noticed how fast the car was.
"Once we had space, you could really see that we had a lot of speed. The car was really great, but I couldn't do anything in traffic. At the end, I was able to overtake a bit, but I could have gotten more out of it than P5. Too bad we couldn't attack sooner,'' concluded Verstappen's teammate.
