After the Russian and Portuguese Grand Prix, the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix now seems to be attracting fans to the Imola circuit. 10.000 fans want to admit the promoter of the circuit.
Since the coronavirus, the Formula 1 season has been quite shaken. Not only was the calendar completely rewritten, but the drivers also had to do without fans. In Russia and Portugal they want to admit 30.000 and 50.000 again on the track and now Imola wants to admit people as well.
Imola wants fans on the circuit
''Stefano Bonaccini, the governor of Emilia Romagna, has issued a prelude which will make it possible to receive 10.000 spectators at Misano. We assume that by the end of October this will also be possible for the Imola circuit," says Uberto Selvatico Estense, promoter of the Imola circuit against the Italian Autosprint.
The Imola Grand Prix is scheduled for November 1st, where the MotoGP race will take place at Misano on September 13th and 20th. This gives Imola still time to put everything into operation for the Grand Prix. Earlier Valtteri Bottas already tested at the circuit and he seemed impressed by the former Formula 1 circuit.
