Alexander Albon is disappointed after the second free practice ahead of the Italian Grand Prix. The Red Bull Racing driver finished the session in P14, while teammate Max Verstappen was fifth. Still, Albon is optimistic after FP2.

Fine-tuning the balance

“It went fine in the morning, but it should be a bit better in the afternoon. It's pretty close together and sometimes a tenth faster can sometimes get you four positions. Now we have to do some homework and improve the car," says Albon at Sky after FP2.

Albon is asked whether Red Bull lacks speed on the straights or in the corners. “I think it's a bit of both. I think we have good potential in the corners. It is mainly the fine-tuning of the balance. We know what we want, we just have to achieve it now," says the British-Thai.

“Yes, my fastest lap was also [deleted]. It's tricky because people who slow down in the last corner ready to start a fast lap. Then you get into their dirty air when they start a lap. Then you have trouble taking the corner a bit tighter," the 24-year-old driver concludes.
