Simon Roberts appointed as new team boss at Williams

Claire Williams last weekend acted as team boss of the team for the last time. With the takeover of Williams by Dorilton Capital, the whole team is in new hands and Claire's role in the team is over. Today the new owner Simon Roberts has been appointed team boss of the team.
Temporary team boss
Simon Roberts will act as team boss in the transition period that is going on right now. So it is still unclear whether he will remain in his new role after that transition. Roberts has been working for Williams since May, after coming over from McLaren after more or less 17 years. In 2009 he made a trip to Force India to return to McLaren in 2010.
Roberts: "I am delighted to be announced as Acting Team Principal for Williams during this transitional period. It is an exciting time ahead for the team, a new era for Williams and one that I am excited to be playing a part in. I look forward to the challenge ahead as we look to take the team back to the front of the grid."
That's not the only change at Williams. For example, it was announced earlier Tuesday that Mike O'Driscoll (CEO of Williams) will retire when the transfer to Dorilton Capital is completed.
