Max Verstappen has already indicated several times that it doesn't matter to him who his team mate is, but he is in any case happy with the arrival of Sergio Perez.
During the press conference for the digital FIA Prize Giving gala, he expressed his enthusiasm for choosing Perez.
Verstappen excited for arrival Perez
"He had a great season and did very well, especially with the car he had. He brings more experience and I like him, so I think we get along really well," Verstappen says. "I'm excited."
When asked if Verstappen speaks any Spanish, he answers: "No, I don't. But Sergio can learn Dutch then", he jokes.
He also hopes that Red Bull will be able to close the gap to Mercedes next year. "Hopefully we can make Mercedes a bit more difficult next year".
