Brawn: "That's exactly what I expect from a champion like him"

Sebastian Vettel has been in a downward spiral lately. At Ferrari things didn't go well in recent years and at Aston Martin this season things haven't been going well either. Luckily the German driver managed to score his first points in Monaco.
Fifth place in Monaco
In the first four races of the season the four-time world champion didn't get further than two thirteenth and two fifteenth places. That while teammate Lance Stroll regularly drove in the points. In Monaco, however, it was finally a good weekend for Vettel. He qualified in eighth place and drove to fifth place thanks to a good strategy.
Ross Brawn also saw Vettel rebound in Monaco. "It's fantastic to see Sebastian back in the top ten," the Formula One chief told Speedweek.com. "I have to admit, given the rather shaky performance at Ferrari and a difficult first part of the season with Aston Martin, that I had my doubts."
The real Vettel is back
Vettel showed his good side again in Monaco. "The real Sebastian Vettel is back, he seems to have found that something extra again - his drive in Monte Carlo was as strong as an ox. That's exactly what I expect from a champion like him." Formula One fans also saw this and voted him Driver of the Day.
