Norris happy with performance: 'Days like this are very good'
- Toby McLuskie
Lando Norris started from third on the grid but was only able to best a fifth-place finish. However, he was still happy with his performance.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the race, the young Brit admitted that not much more could've been done today, as he said, "I don't think we could have done a lot more. A lonely straightforward race for me. You always want more until you get P1."
He went on to explain that qualifying will be a key factor next weekend when racing returns to the Red Bull Ring, whilst also adding that he is working his hardest to put the McLaren car in the best place when the chequered flag is flown.
"A day like today shows that in qualifying you know where you need to be. I am driving well and things. We are extracting everything from the car. In the race, you struggle more than pushing to the limits. Hopefully, we can find a second next week and be a lot more competitive."
