'Brazilian Grand Prix goes on, but date still uncertain'
- GPblog.com
The Brazilian Grand Prix seemed to be in doubt for a long time, but it is now as good as certain that the Sao Paulo Grand Prix, as the race is now officially called, will take place in 2021. The question is still when and if the fans will be welcome.
The GP at the Interlagos circuit will be the setting for the third race weekend in Formula 1 this season with a sprint race on the Saturday. After a sprint race at Silverstone and later this season at Monza, Interlagos is the third circuit that will be used for this. The question remains when this race will be organised.

The Grand Prix is at this moment scheduled for November 7, but according to Formel1.de it is not sure yet if this date will stay the same. Now the race is part of the Triple Header with America and Mexico but the race can also be moved to November 14. The decision will be made on August 26.
''It is fiftyfifty at the moment. It is a puzzle, but we will fight for it. In any case, I can say with certainty that the race will not be cancelled. That has been confirmed,'' said promoter Alan Adler. Governor of Sao Paulo, Joao Doria, also agrees. ''No chance at all. Only if a catastrophic situation or something unexpected happens. We are relaxed here, but just need to pin the date,'' Doria concludes.
