The 'race' at Spa-Francorchamps only lasted two laps. It was enough to hand out half points and set an official result. Max Verstappen took his sixteenth career win in Formula 1. For George Russell it was his first podium, while Lewis Hamilton finished third for the first time in 2021.
Remarkably, there are also two Ferraris in the points, while both Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz both failed Q3. They benefited from Sergio Perez' s crash and Valtteri Bottas' grid penalty, among other things.
