Hülkenberg expects hard work for Bottas: "There are different laws"

Valtteri Bottas will retire from top team Mercedes AMG F1 in 2022 and swap his seat for one at Alfa Romeo Racing. According to former driver Nico Hülkenberg, Bottas should not be mistaken about this move. 'In the midfield there are different rules'.
Respect for teammate Hamilton
Bottas may have come from Williams in 2017, but that team was still of reasonable stature in 2016. Now, after five years, the Finn will make his entry at a team fighting in the midfield and having to do its best to score points.
Speaking to ServusTV, Hülkenberg first of all has nothing but praise for Bottas who spent no less than five years competing against the best driver in the world: "I would have understood very well if he wanted to take a year off after these five intense years at Mercedes alongside Lewis Hamilton. You have to pay him respect, because it is not easy to be against possibly the best in the world drive. He's had to put up with a lot over the years. So, chapeau!"
Different laws apply in the midfield
All the more respect Hülkenberg has for the fact that Bottas dares to move to a 'lesser' team on the grid: "It is definitely a change. It will no longer be the top car, it will have to acclimatize again in the midfield, in reality. There are different laws."
